BCEHL Teammates of the Year Award 2025

We are pleased to present the Adam Cole and Jay Lane Teammate of the Year awards to two well-deserving recipients this season.

These awards are presented to the BCEHL player demonstrating fair, generous, and supportive treatment of others in the league.

Adison DeMont - Renegades

"With a BECHL player injured off the ice looking for some support, Adison took the initiative to help and make sure they got what they needed and went above and beyond and made sure they were ok. What a great act of kindness and not surprising as she is a great person, generous and a pleasure to play against and play with as a teammate. We appreciate you in the BCEHL Adison - well done.

Shane McKinnon- QE Marlins

" He's a positive presence in the dressing room and on the ice and a great teammate. He's always keen to come spare and help any team out any night of the week. It just made sense that Shane is the right recipient for the 1st Jay Lane teammate of the year award. We're fortunate to have him in our league - Congrats Shane! "

Congrats to Adison and Shane!

It is in memory of Rebels teammate, Detective Constable Adam Cole who passed away Nov 27, 2018 and QE Marlins teammate, Jay Lane who passed away June 22, 2024. They were both great teammates with lots of energy, good natured and genuine enjoyment for the game that contributed to a positive atmosphere on their teams on and off the ice.
